Faculty Approval status means the study has a faculty sponsor that needs to review and approve the submission. The IRB has not received the application and no review will begin until the Sponsor clicks “Submit Approval” in ERICA.

Not sure who your Faculty Sponsor is? Check your ERICA application. On the Study Introduction page, your Sponsor is listed under Question #1b.
