The Investigational Drug Service (IDS) prepares study-specific information to help other pharmacists handle, inventory, and control investigational drugs.  The IDS pharmacists are also responsible for ensuring investigational drugs are handled according to state and federal laws and regulations, hospital policy, IRB policy, and sponsor protocols.
