Interim Policy on Institutional Conflicts of Interest (ICOI) Rule

May 1st, 2015

The University of Utah has implemented an interim rule for addressing institutional conflicts of interest, effective May 1, 2015.

The University of Utah recognizes that certain interests held by the University and/or by its senior leadership could have the potential to compromise, or appear to compromise, the integrity of Research with Human Subjects conducted at the University. The purpose of this policy is to establish principles and practices to identify institutional conflicts of interest (ICOI) that have the potential to adversely affect Research with Human Subjects and to manage, reduce, or eliminate such conflicts.

The interim rule will be posted on the University of Utah’s Regulations Library Policy List

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of the Associate Vice President of Research Integrity and Compliance.
